Logitech Harmony 1100 Universal Remote Control

The Harmoney 670 (and the black version, the 620) are universal remote controls available at Costco right now for $100 less the present promotion of $50. The RF Extender is a remote infrared blaster that communicates with certain Harmony universal remotes via RF (radio frequencies), so that it can be in another room and still work.

The documentation for the 670 (& 620) does not clearly indicate whether it will communicate with the RF Extender. Does anyone know whether it does?
