How do I turn on my Logitech Harmony One remote?

I just purchased my remote. I let it charge for an hour or two and the battery indicator says its fully charged. When I pick the remote up from the docking station and try to press some buttons, it does not turn on. I tried to plug it in to my computer to update it but the computer can’t read it because the remote is not on. Is my remote broken?

Remote controls are often not on / off buttons – but if you have a light background should be when a key is pressed. You may need to install some s / w on your PC before you can recognize it. Stand called Logitech Support for further information.
