Logitech Harmony 510 Advanced Universal Remote

Your coffee table has five remotes. You have a special drawer where you keep them. Wouldn’t it be easier to just have one remote? You can. Replace all your remotes with the Logitech Harmony 510 Advanced Universal Remote.

With some of the DVD-Video, if you want to set something like "Tape Speed", you need the original remote control. You forgot to explain the role of learning for us.

Because if you want to enter specific options, for example, in my AV receiver, who wanted to change (in the course of a film) by Dolby Digital, DTS al. You need to run literally 20 odd pages of otions to reach this and then select it. In that case, its faster just to use the normal remote control. If you are goin to buy one of these I would advise you not skimp and get a nice touch screen, with a large LCD screen. Just as it can.

I use my Sony PSP as a universal remote. You can download thousands of hexadecimal codes ready and set the PSP to turn on / off thousands of devices. It's harder to get established for this purpose and requires a firmware not official, but was more or less "free" after buying the PSP and was happy to discover that through homebrew is completely different from the reason (s something) I bought the PSP in the first place was possible.
